As Legal Assistant I work primarily in the areas of real estate, business transactions, and estate planning and administration. I also help out in litigation as well as employment and school law matters. My background is real estate.
I graduated from Harvard in 1969. I graduated from New York University law school in 1974 and was admitted to the New York bar in 1974. After law school I went to work for a law firm in New York City that specialized in shopping center development. I then moved to Vermont in the late 70s and put my legal career went on hold while I became a small business owner (ski lodge), a commercial real estate broker, and did editorial work for a major electronic publisher. Finally, I returned to law practice in 1999 to work with my friend Bill Meub. Although I am not currently admitted to the bar, my law school education and legal experience enables me to help clients with many of their legal issues.
